This year's site visit will be to Severn Trent's Net Zero Hub at Strongford - the world's first net zero wastewater treatment plant!
Delegates will get a first-hand look at the treatments being deployed to transform bioresources treatment and actively monitor and reduce emissions:
Advanced sludge treatment, including Thermal Hydrolysis and enhanced anaerobic digestion to maximise biogas production and improve biosolids quality.
Biogas and biomethane recovery - how energy generated from sludge is captured and put to use.
Methane emissions monitoring, including treatment processes designed to reduce residual methane from digested sludge.
Resources recovery from sludge, including biosolids production and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
The visit offered will provide an opportunity to see how net-zero ambition is being turned into practical, scalable solutions - and why Strongford site is becoming a blue print for future wastewater and bioresources operations.
Please note the visit is only available to conference attendees. Booking opening soon...
