The dewatering of sludge is one of the major parts in the water treatment process. The highest possible level of dry cake must be reached at the best dosing of polymers and at the best performance of the centrifuge. The control of this  sludge dewatering process is now done only based on a once a day sample of an operator.  Expecting that the sludge feed has a constant flow and quality. To optimize and automate this process, online real-time measurements for centrate and sludge cake are crucial for optimization and automation. With our system we provide this real time accurate and reliable measurement, which makes it finally possible to automate and optimize the sludge dewatering process. Automation of the  sludge dewatering process will reduce the cost for transport, energy consumption energy and usage of chemicals.
