Travel
We recommend the Citymapper app once you are in Manchester for walking and public transport.
The Metrolink (tram): For the Point use the Old Trafford stop. From Piccadilly or Victoria rail stations take the Altrincham direction (green or purple line). Remember to buy your tickets before you board. You can purchase tickets on-stop or by using the get me there app. Here is a link to the tram map.
By train: Take the train to Manchester Victoria or Manchester Piccadilly rail stations and then the tram as above.
NB: If you are travelling from abroad train tickets are better booked ahead as they get more expensive the closer they are to the day of travel. You can book online www.thetrainline.com.
By Air: From Manchester airport: Take Metrolink tram (Navy Line) towards Victoria and alight at Trafford Bar (it’s a fifteen minute walk to the venue from here). Remember to buy your tickets before you board. You can purchase tickets on-stop or by using the traveline.info/ app. Here is a link to the tram map.
