Hotel and Travel Information
Please find below hotel and travel information for those attending the 2022 European Biosolids & Bioresources Conference on the 22- 23 November.
HOTELS
The hotels around the NEC can be very busy depending on what events are running so please book your accommodation as soon as possible. We suggest you shop around to ensure you get the best deals available.
Below are a few different options for booking your accommodation:
Conference Hotel: The Hilton Birmingham Metropole, NEC, Pendigo Way, Marston Green, Birmingham, B40 1PP
B&B: We have a limited number of rooms in the conference hotel: Monday 21st November and Tuesday 22nd November £157 +VAT per night for single occupancy B&B. Book online here.

The platform offers a range of hotels around the NEC; including the conference hotel. The prices on the site can fluctuate so if you see a good deal we suggest you go ahead and book it.

PARKING
There is parking at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel and NEC E3 (both require payment).
TRAVEL
Train: Train travel in the UK can be very expensive if you book at the last minute, but you can make huge savings if you book early www.thetrainline.com
The closest rail station is Birmingham International Train Station which is a 15 minute walk to the hotel. The main rail station is Birmingham New Street Station which is around a 10-15 minute journey from Birmingham International depending on the time of day.
By Air: The closest airport is Birmingham International (connected to the NEC complex by a 2-minute Air-Rail link). East Midlands airport is 36 miles away and the next closest airport.
