Dr Hariharan Narendran is a medical doctor and former Academic Clinical Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Liverpool. He is a current Senior Lecturer and Course Lead in Pathophysiology and Diagnostics at Anglia Ruskin University and a doctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, where his work examines artificial intelligence and responsible innovation. He is also CEO of Astavalence.Ai, an AI strategy company working across healthcare, education and organisational transformation. Hari holds postgraduate degrees from the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics. He brings a clinical pharmacology, human-health and systems perspective to antimicrobial resistance, with particular interest in translating complex evidence into meaningful clinical, technological and policy decisions.
